I was deeply saddened when I heard about your passing, Doreen.  It wasn't till then that I heard about your being a well decorated nurse, wife, mother and grandmother.  To me, you will alway be "my twin" and I have fond memories of us calling each other that while running in the halls of North before you headed to South.  I hold those memories dear and will never forget you and our friendship.. love you twin!!!

We were friends since kindergarten.  Doreen was always a happy and inspiring person.

I last saw Doreen at our 20th reunion where she saw me first, ran up to me and gave me a big hug!  It was so good to see her after all those years.  I was so saddened by the news that she didn't make it to the 30th.  I very much was looking forward to seeing her and found out that she had passed on after a very brave fight just before our 30th reunion.  I will always remember her warm heart and I miss her.
