I remember Karen being in every homeroom that I was ever in, our names being so close, alphabetically, & getting to know her, as I discovered her friendship with Elise Hanna, from the North School, she sometimes having dated my brother. We never were socially active, but I do think that she was a beautiful lady, & fun to converse with. We had English with Dr. White, our senior years, I think. So sad to know that she is no longer with us. My sympathies to the family.

Karen also taught at Lakewood Elementary School in Congers (part of CCSD). My mom was the secretary there. RIP.
